We all want revival. We talk about it, pray for it and devise every evangelism strategy imaginable. We read about the Great Awakening and recall the Jesus Movement. And today we stand at the precipice of another sweeping spiritual outbreak that could reach the ends of the Earth. But are we ready? Revival Culture is an inspirational, biblical and empowering manual for the next generation of revivalists. Michael Brodeur and Banning Liebscher have been witnessing a spiritual renewal at Bethel Church in Redding, California, and through Jesus Culture that goes beyond slogans and high hopes to actually reaching. They have learned that transformation happens when we see the unreached as Jesus sees them and when we make revival a part of our lives rather than an event. This is the full picture of revival culture.

Michael Brodeur came to Christ in San Francisco during the Jesus People movement and spent the next 33 years in ministry in the city. He served as district overseer for the Association of Vineyard Churches in the Bay Area and founded the Advanced Institute of Ministry. He now serves as director of development for Jesus Culture and as overseer of the Leader Development Continuum at Bethel Church, in Redding, CA. He and his wife, Diane, have seven children.

Banning Liebscher and his wife, SeaJay, are on staff at Bethel Church in Redding, California, as the Directors of Jesus Culture, a ministry dedicated to mobilizing a generation to shape culture and transform nations. Banning’s passion is to see a generation of revivalists raised up who have encountered the extravagant love of Jesus and have given themselves for worldwide revival. He and his wife have three children, Ellianna, Raya and Lake.

In this day and age, I don’t know any informed believer who would say that all is well with the Church in the United States. But what can be done to pull the Church out of its malaise? One of the most practical answers to this vital question comes from my friend Michael Brodeur. As I read Revival Culture, chapter after chapter I saw numerous glimmers of light that together can point us to a bright and shining future. You will love this book and be greatly encouraged as you read it!

Revival Culture provides important insights to help build the "net" to capture and empower the coming harvest. Michael is a man filled with humility and wisdom. I love how he calls us to live incarnationally as Jesus did, going lower still to meet people where they are. Banning’s life is a true reflection of his call for discipleship in the form of "life on life." Bill’s challenge makes me want to surrender everything again. I gladly recommend Revival Culture, and I pray God uses it to download supernatural strategies and strengthen community bonds to prepare for the coming harvest.

We are living in the time of the greatest harvest in the history of the Church! The center of global Christianity has shifted to the southern hemisphere. Revival Culture addresses some of the key issues about this worldwide phenomenon and how it will shape and develop as the harvest expands. Michael Brodeur has written a timely, insightful book for those who don’t want to be left behind in what God is doing.
