One of God's greatest gifts to us - rest - is also one of the most elusive. Anyone who has faced demanding schedules, torn relationships, or bitter disappointments knows that the call to rest in the midst of it all seems impossible. We struggle through our days, hoping to just survive, believing rest cannot be ours until we have more time or easier circumstances. But the Bible promises that rest is available now. No matter how great our restlessness feels, Jesus can lead us into his presence today. Through heart connection with him we can find a rest that cannot be taken from us.

Whether the chaos in your life is subtle or extreme, Choosing Rest will give you the tools to help cultivate your soul so that you can live in the rest God wants for you - for today, for tomorrow, for life.

"Wow! Choosing Rest was a book that I couldn't put down, and when it was finished, I wanted more! It is a must-read and a wonderful gift book for all of us who long for answers to the unrest of our hearts."

-Sally Meredith, author of Two Becoming One

"Choosing Rest achieves that rarest of fall feats- it ignites my longing for rest without making me ashamed that rest so often proves elusive. And when it woos me, step-by-step, to that garden place Jesus reserves for me. Sally's book is the best guide I know to a heart that is genuinely at rest in God."

-Paula Rinehart, author of Strong Women, Soft Hearts

"Sally Breedlove has clearly identified and articulated society's desperate need for inner rest. Twenty-first century reality is marked with frantic living, unprecedented career and family pressures, fear, and future insecurity. Choosing Rest addresses the liberating God-path to inner peace and rest."

    -Margaret Gibb, president, Women Alive
