What is the Cross?

Being in the church, we often look at the cross as the symbol of God?s glory. It is also the core of our belief. It signifies the resurrection of our Lord Jesus. It is also the connecting point of God?s love and His justice.

We are also reminded the heaviness of the cross at times. Two pieces of wood: one vertically standing with another one crossing horizontally. The cross carries the sins of the world, including mine.

There are sins that we might be ashamed of and often try to hide them. All the mistakes that we have made become huge pressure within us and often cause us to cry. Sometimes our hearts might become cold or even begin to lose feeling.

However, all the sins and pressures are on the cross of Jesus.

We ask Jesus, ?How can you carry it??

He says, ?Because I love you! I love You! I know you cannot walk alone and I cannot watch you suffer; therefore, I would rather switch places with you. I want to give you a precious gift.?

He gave up Himself for us, at the same time He gave up His position, honor, and life. When we receive this priceless gift, is there anything we can give in return?

This album is our response to God?s love. It is to show our appreciation of the salvation we have received from Jesus. It is our hunger for the Holy Spirit.
