Musically, it's the Blind Boys, top-notch performers who are tight, polished, and full of the kind of presence you've been led to expect form their best records. Sonically and annotatively, this collection leaves plenty to be desired. Still, for those fans who have come to the group late, or have tracked them through the decades, this is most likely a necessary purchase.
